Apple Pie Recipe

INGREDIENTS & INSTRUCTIONS​
Ingredients for Crust
1 Gluten Free Trader Joe's crust or 1 graham cracker crust (non-GF)
If you use the graham cracker crust, then 1 large egg yolk – beaten
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees & brush bottom and sides of crust with the egg yolk
Ingredients for Filling
4-5 apples – thin sliced small-medium
3 tablespoons of almond flour (or all-purpose flour)
½ teaspoon of ground cinnamon and ¼ teaspoon of nutmeg or the apple pie ground spice
¼ teaspoon of salt
¾ cup of Truvia baking blend (or sugar)
1. Mix in bowl, make sure all apples are evenly covered
2. Pour into crust
Ingredients for Topping
¾ cup of almond flour (or all-purpose flour)
½ cup of Truvia baking blend (or sugar)
¼ - ½ cup of butter
1. Mix well and mash up butter (do not melt the butter or it will burn in oven)
2. Spread evenly over filling
3. Bake for 35-45 minutes (at 35 minutes, I start to check on it) at 350F & cool for 3-4 hours

Why I love this Recipe:
This recipe is a very traditional Brazilian stroganoff and I often do at our house, it’s easy, super-fast and James and Cassie (who is very picky) love as much as I do.
Brazilian Stroganoff

INGREDIENTS​

1.5lb of beef or chicken breast in cubes

3 tbsp of olive oil

3 garlic cloves minced
-
Salt and Oregano for seasoning

1 yellow onion chopped
-
1 can of Nestle table cream
-
24oz jar of tomato sauce
-
¼ cup ketchup
-
1 bouillon cube
-
1 can (drained) of corn (optional)

Pinch of sugar to tone down the acidity of tomato sauce

INSTRUCTIONS

In a large pot, heat the olive oil and sauté the onions for about 2 minutes and add the minced garlic cook

for another minute. Add the meat, bouillon, and salt to seasoning it. After the meat is cooked, add the

tomato sauce, sugar, oregano, ketchup, and corn. Turn it off after the sauce is boiling. Add table cream
-
for finalize it.

Please note that table cream cannot be boiled.

Serve stroganoff with white rice and shoestring potatoes for a traditional Brazilian dish.
