Our private follow-up breastfeeding consultations are for clients that have already had a full breastfeeding consultation. Follow-up visits are a reassessment of the breastfeeding session. Follow-up visits are recommended when breastfeeding is still not quite going as you intended. Many times one visit is all that is necessary but there are situations where you and your baby need more guidance, support and re-evaluation.
Make a follow-up appointment, if you are still having difficulty with latch-on, your baby is not gaining weight, you are giving more supplemental bottles, or if you are having difficulty maintaining your milk supply.

Registration: You may register one of 2 ways. Call Simply Motherhood at 516-522-0337 or register online- See Below. When registering please provide your baby's age and the type of consultation requested. Once your registration is submitted and processed, you will receive an email confirmation. We will contact you shortly to schedule your appointment. Next day appointments are typically available.
Fees: Follow-up consultations are $150 for 1 hour and paid in full at time of registration. If consultations are extended beyond the 1 hour, there is a $50 charge for each additional half hour. This fee is paid at the end of the visit. You will be provided with a Lactation Visit Receipt at the end of your consultation.
Insurance Reimbursement: We are currently a fee-for-service at time of service practice. This practice does not do billing for reimbursement and is not a provider on any insurance plan at this time.
